At Good Harvest Organic Farm, every choice we make is rooted in care - for the land, for our farmers, and for the families who choose to eat well.
That’s why Plastic Free July is more than just a trend for us. It’s a reflection of the values we live by all year round. And we're pretty sure a lot of you share the same values too!

Why Plastic Free July Matters
Plastic Free July is a global movement that encourages millions of people to reduce single-use plastic waste in their daily lives. It’s about awareness, action, and doing what we can with what we have.
Even the smallest changes, like saying no to a plastic bag or bringing your own container, can ripple into big impact when we act together.

Our Ongoing Commitment to Less Waste
We’ve always been passionate about creating a food system that’s better for people and the planet. Here’s how we’re doing our part:
🥬 Plastic-free produce: Our certified organic fruit and veggie boxes come without the plastic wrap you often find at big supermarkets.
🚚 Eco-conscious deliveries: Our home delivery service uses minimal, recyclable packaging; no unnecessary plastic trays or bags.
🛍️ Farmers Markets, minus the waste: When you shop with us at the farmers markets, we encourage you to bring along BYO bags, jars, and baskets - anything to reduce packaging is always welcome!
🔁 Closing the loop: We reuse and recycle wherever we can, from harvest to delivery.
How You Can Join In
Whether you’re a long-time low-waste warrior or just getting started, here are a few easy ways to embrace Plastic Free July with us:
- Choose unpackaged & unbagged items where possible - Buy from local markets & steer clear of pre-packaged items.
- Choose planet-friendly options - If you can't avoid packaging, make sure it is recyclable or compostable.
- Say no to single-use - If you can't use it more than once, the planet pays the price. Refuse plastic straws, cutlery, and takeaway containers.
- Support businesses that care - Like us! Every time you buy from a local, organic farmer, you’re casting a vote for a better food system.
Let’s Grow a Better Future
Plastic Free July reminds us that sustainability is a shared journey. At Good Harvest, we’re proud to be walking this path alongside our community, making better choices, one season at a time.
Thanks for supporting local, organic, and plastic-free wherever you can.
