As the climate, soil and water are different, basmati rice is not grown in Australia. The best place is India and we source from a family farm in Punjab. RBF tested 20 other kinds of rice. Yes, can you believe us! This one was the best on so many levels. 

Add 1 cup of pure basmati to a bowl and cover with water and soak for 20 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water then add 2 measures of water to one measure of dry rice to the pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-12 minutes. ... Lightly fork through grains and serve.
